feed heavy? feed light? Do you let the fish crap sit on the bottom of the tank or should I siphon it out daily?

Siphon weekly. Bare bottoms usually have so much flow that detritus is kept in suspension and filtered out. The reason they go BB is to keep the sand from blowing around.

Strategically planned water movement keeps the detritus in suspension where it falls and settles in the sump. Once it is settled in the sump it is easily vacummed up during water changes.I havent really changed my feeding amount due to going mostly bb. I try not to overfeed, sometimes the begging works on me though. My fish are fat and so is my dog.
