That's a great question! I don't know what my torch's name is, but they have a few different ones that look almost spot on. A Malaysian King Jester, $250.00 per head, an Orange Peel Indo, $200.00 per head, & an 24K Indo, $250.00 per head. How much does your store sell frags like that for?
If I was the LFS I’d try to give you $500 in livestock credit. If I was the seller I’d hope for $800 in store credit for dry goods or livestock.
@Coral Kai interested in this ? Or can you give a value for a colony like this?I wish I could give you a price for it, but good luck selling it! It looks amazing!
Trading it is very difficult...cause you will get pennies on the dollar for it@Coral Kai interested in this ? Or can you give a value for a colony like this?
I have a friend that is set up for fragging & offered to frag it in exchange for 1 or 2 heads. I actually have two of these colonies, the first is at least 16 heads, the other is 14. Maybe sell on Facebook Market place?Trading it is very difficult...cause you will get pennies on the dollar for it
i also dont have alot of experience with anything that size if its really 16 heads
- most people cant ship anything that size so it will have to be local
- this limits the value significantly because its local
- fragging a coral that size is extremely difficult
Yea try local reefer groups on Facebook first. Even there, it wi be luck that someone wants one that big.I have a friend that is set up for fragging & offered to frag it in exchange for 1 or 2 heads. dealing with 16 individuals is a pain in the butt and you will still not get as much as you think you should for a lot more work. selling coral can be fun but it can also be a real pain.in my experience...selling 1 coral...is much much better than selling 16 corals
The way this coral is growing, it looks like it would need to be fragged into some two head and some four head frags. That may be easier to sell. It definitely can't be fragged into 16 individual heads.in my experience...selling 1 coral...is much much better than selling 16 corals
