So I've been dosing triton for a while now and I'd like to adjust the times of when particular elements are dosed. In order to do that I need to know what's what of pets 1,2,3a & 3b. It may have said on the bottles but I no longer have them here.

1) Alk and Potassium
2) Calcium
3A/3B) Magnesium plus refugium/algae food

And somewhere in there is a bunch of trace elements. AFAIK thats as much as anyone knows ;)

Im not sure but wouldn't this defeat one of the most appealing purposes of triton, that everything is dosed at same rate and is adjusted off alk. this and no water changes is why im giving it a shot.

Well the calcium and alk can't be dosed at the same time so I figured I'd dose the calcium during the day to benefit the stony corals and alk at night to balance the pH swings.

I'd be curious what the triton folks have to say about this method as well though. All my stonys are very healthy but are lacking growth. So anything I can do to encourage growth I'm willing to try. I also dose acropower now as well and definitely notice a lot more PE.

They can be dosed at the same time depending on how you are dosing it.
Sorry for the crummy picture but my triton setup doses 2mL an hour of each element in the same spot.

Valid point...I sent an email to triton to see what their thoughts are. I only need about 40ml of each element, and my doser is set to dose 4ml with each dose so that doesn't leave a lot of time. In the end if my numbers are stable, and corals look good, I'm not sure why this would be an issue.

I ran into that issue also.
I diluted the mixes 2-1 2 ro to 1 part element.
that allowed be to spread the dosing over a 24 hour period.
any slower and you might get air locked with common dosers (my unit alarms when there is air in the lines)
all I can say is that the numbers are stable as a rock lol

Interesting...maybe with my next mix of elementz I'll consider that. I already forgot, what is the recommended dilution ratio (RO:Element) from Triton?

Its 2.4 gallons per element.
I combine 3a and 3b in 2.4 gallons
Took a lot of communication with UC at first to figure it out
I keep full strength in 5 gallon containers then dilute 2-1 in my gallon jugs. Helps my ro ato out with less top off :)
