This has been in the same spot with the same lighting since it was a frag. This started a couple of months ago but has really started to speed up in the last week. The first picture is after it had already started to go bad 2 months ago and the second is from today. Could it be to late to save it?

Not sure exactly what the issue is but I've had a couple of Favia that had some similar issues and I first dipped them in Coral RX for about 8 minutes to rule out pests and then about 4-5 days later dipped them in Brightwell Aquatics Lugol’s for about 10 minutes. Moved them to a lower light area for a while and both recovered in a few weeks to a month.

Thanks. I've got both. I hadn't even thought about the Lugol's.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
