Some of the more iconic, and also forgotten members of our reef aquariums in our hobby are the invertebrates we add into our systems. Whether it be Cleaner Shrimp or a Peacock Mantis Shrimp there is a wide range of critters to add into your tank, or even make a species only tank for!

Love to hear in the thread your favorite invert currently!

This Golden Coral Banded Shrimp caught our eye in the invert system in the retail store! Thought you all would enjoy! Happy Reefing!

Tiger sand conch -- goofy looking and no downside that I can think of.
Honorable mention to skunk cleaner shrimp -- fun but can make target feeding corals a bit of a pain.
*I actually really like a handful of different inverts more than fish
Conch's are truly some characters with those little eye balls! Skunk cleaners are truly iconic!

Here's my latest favorite! Came in as a hitchhiker. Have only seen him this clearly once, a few days ago.

Completely agree! I love my Skunk cleaner. Such a funny little guy...but boy is it an absolute pig of an eater. Spot feeding is nearly impossible with how fast he shows food. It's a juvenile so it's growing like crazy. This is what I found this morning...3rd molt since the end of Nov when I got Jim. "His" name is Tempura

I like my spotted nem crab and blue porcelain crab--they both like being target fed. LOVE my two strawberry conches. And when I had a tux urchin, loved him too. Inverts can be very cool.

Oh, how could I forget my pitho crab! Useless cleaner, but that's my own fault for spoiling him with personal pieces of nori...

Recently had hair algae outbreak and single urchin took care of it. They were mainly on the back wall. You can see black Halloween urchin doing the work. I. Bought him after the outbreak in attempt to take care of it natural way first :)
