when do I need to be concerned about weight on the back glass?

I have a 47-gallon AIO tank made of 10mm glass. I have a HOB skimmer and lights mounted to the back. The lights are a Reef Breeders Photon 24 (soon to be upgraded to a 32) and two AliExpress Popular grow bars. Is the stress on the glass something I should be worrying about?

I would not worry too much no, should be just fine! :) However, if you DO worry, i'd just hang the lights from the ceiling and be done with it! :)

It's all about piece of mind, isn't it?

If its a rimmed tank, then no need to worry, they can take the weight of hob equipment no problem. I've run hob equipment on my tanks for many years (lights, hob filter, hob skimmers, hob reactors, etc...). But I would never hang anything from an un-rimmed tank.
