Which doser?

[thatindonesianreefer]

Hi all. I'm currently turning my 12 gal lps reef to an easy sps dominated. I'm currently wondering if its a good idea to swap out my current jebao 3.4 doser for either a kamoer f4 or a red sea 3 head doser. Can you guys recommend which doser to pick or if i should just stay with my current setup? Also im dosing 2 part but im not sure if ill add more. Thanks in advance.

That's entirely up to you. I use the plain old Jebao non WiFi 4 head doser. It's been reliable for me but I've definitely heard stories of them failing for other people in the past.

i thought red sea only made 2 and 4 head dosers? i used to use a jebao doser and never had problems with it. but ive also been seeing more and more about them needing calibrated more often and that worries me. i plan on going for a red sea 2 once im ready

Yes sorry i meant to type in 2 but misclicked to 3

If what you have is working why switch? I've not run jebao but have run kamoer f1 and x1 and currently run a reefdose 2 and 4 versas. They all work but as much as I hate to say it because I'm very disappointed in RS as a company I love my reefdose. It's a little noisy but I'm ok with that. I've been running it a few years and can't remember it even needing recalibrated after testing it. I do a manual dose and measure to test it vs going straight into calibration. I like the reefbeat app also.

I really like the Chihros doser. Ran it on my planted tank for a year with no issues. I'm planning on moving it over to the my new 25 lagoon to dose All for Reef soon.
The app is really good.

That looks very interesting. It appears that vendors in the plant hobby aren't as greedy as the reef hobby lol

I have the Red Sea. Haven't had much issues besides normal head and hose replacement/maintenance. had a few years.

Have the Red Sea good doser, have the Versa also solid, and so are my two DOS new gen.

If you decide to change I’d go RS Doser. Mine running for years with no issues

What is lowest ml per dose?

I have kamoers and they work well, but unless there's a feature you don't have I'm not sure its worth changing.
