I have some old Pharos led and am looking to upgrade. I really like the pharos interface in which I can set the lights to come on at a specific time and intensity, for example 6am at 1%, and then set the next time at a given intensity and it will automatically increase over that period of time to that level. For example if I put in 8am at 50% between the time of 6am and 8am it will gradually increases by 1% increments over that time period til it reaches what ever percentage I set, so if I looked at it at 6:30 it would probably be up to 13% and then 7am it would be 25% and so on.
Is there any other lights that do this gradual increase between set points?
Most the lights I looked at don't explain if they do this or if they only increase at the times you set and intensity you set.
Anyone know if any of the newer led are able to do this 1% increment adjustment throughout points set?

Basically all of the major brands with some sort of a controller offer this function. I currently run 2 AI Primes they have that functionality as well as a light acclimation feature. I also run a Kessil A150 with controlled by the apex, which also has the same features you're looking for. The primes may not be well suited to larger tanks though. I've heard the EcoTech lights also have this feature though I cant speak from personal expierience.

We are using an Orbit Marine Pro which does sunrise and sunset like ramp up and ramp downs out of the box. We are very happy with it and everything in the tank is growing.

The Radions have that feature.....it slowly increases or decreases between points on the graph rather than holding steady at point A, until point B arrives.

Reefbreeder photons have that feature and they cost a fraction of the price of other "high end" fixtures and they are doing awesome on on my system.

Agree with posts above. Depends on the leds. If equipped with the right drivers you can run a light controller. Good in expensive example is the bluefish controller. can run up to 6 channels and ramp up and down.. so lots of option out there depending on what lights you go with.

Kessil A360we's flicker below 15% intensity with the apex so you can't ramp them down completely to zero.

Maxspect R420Rs have 6 points to set for ramp up/down and 2 separate channels for blue and white. Plus the controller is built in to the fixture.

GHL Mitras series goes from 1-100% intensity, you just pick the percentage of output!
