Ok I am going to get a octopus super reef but I dont know which model I should get. I have a 100gal dt w/ a 30gal tank as a sump. I have another 30 gal that I think I want to hook up to the same system as a frag tank. I have what I think is kind of a heavy bio-load; 2 o. Clowns, 3 lyretail anthias
(I try to feed once a day because of the anthias), 4 blue green chromis, a yellow tang, a clown tang, pearly jawfish, and a yashia goby. I also run zeovit.

So which model do you think I should get?

I was thinking the 2000 cone, the 2000 regular, or the 3000 regular

for the extra $50.00 I would go with the 3000. I am setting up a 180 with a 60 gallon sump. I am going with the 5000. Just got the tank today and going to start the install tomorrow.

Sweet good luck with the install. Yeah I asked a LFS to order the 3000 a few weeks ago, but his suppler said they could not get then until mid April. I was talking to someone any they said the 2000 would be more then enough on my system, just looking for more input.

I have about the same size system with even more bioload and I was told the 3000 was too much. They were suggesting the xp 200 or the regular 2000.
