Since I sohal is so closely equated with the other place, just about any Acanyhus will feel like a knock-off.

A yellow tang is one of the most ubiquitous reef fish around.

I'm a HUGE fan of the purple tang, the most stunning of tangs.

Tangs don't really excite me so i'd prefer to see another species but voted naso as I like them the best from the list. I do however think you need a Native species since America does patriotism so well.

I am having a Tang (surgeonfish) character created for R2R uses. I was hoping to get a vote from you as to which one we use. Blue tang is not an option since we want something different than Dory. :)

So please vote!

(some tangs were left off the list)

If this is a character, as in drawing rather than photograph, go with a Blonde Naso, but make the blonde portion kinda like a mohawk, then give it a tattoo of a hepatus tang, maybe being attacked by a deep sea angler, on one of it's fins. Naso's have a least a bit of color going on, a clown tang would be cool but looks a bit like the sohol that someone mentioned earlier.

Form or function: Do you consider your rock work to be art or the platform for your coral?
