Pimples? Not ich... Usually when I see these on clowns (it's almost always on the chin or around the face) it ends up being bacterial in nature. I've cured it many times using furan2 and metroplex at the same time in a QT.

Had him 3 weeks. He was tank raised at a very reputable saltwater aquarium shop. I bought him with a blue damsel. The store kept them in a tank together at the shop for three weeks before I picked them up. My tank was newly set up the beginning of March. It cycled properly and parameters have been spot on for past 6 weeks:

1.024 salinity
0 ppm Nitrate
0 ppm Nitrite
8.2 pH
0 ppm Ammonia

76-79 degrees F

20% water changes weekly

Can I QT in a bucket? I don't have an extra tank. Our house temp stays around 76F all day all night.

Yes, a 5 gal bucket would be fine for one clownfish.
