White hard worm thing

This white worm or tube is now moving up the rock and I don’t know what it is, I haven’t seen anything come out of it, but throughout the night it has moved up approximately 3 inches

First off the top of my head guess is it is a Feather Duster of sorts.

Yea maybe, the tube has been on the rock for two weeks and hasn’t moved, nothing has come out either. There’s two very tiny feather dusters on that rock
