White lights and blue lights.

I have a 20 gal tall reef tank with a variety of fish and corals. I was wondering how important is white light for your corals. I have a 165w full spectrum led light that is dimmible and I have been having trouble getting the lighting part down. It is a full light spectrum led the blues and whites are both dimmible. Any suggestions for the lighting should my blues be high and my whites be really low?

Set the ratio by eye and make the tank look good.. Folks grow the same coral under 8000 kelvin and 20000 kelvin. The intensity and duration is much more important.

Are there only two blue LED's in there and four red's? Is that a freshwater light or something?

I have similar lighting. I use 75%blue 20%white. Try this and then adjust the whites to your liking. If the whites are too high, your tank and corals will look washed out.
