Hi there,

I’m hoping someone can help me id this weird white stringy thing with tentacles growing in my sump. There’s quite a few in there and some are larger than this one. I have a feeling it’s a sponge but could be wrong and want to make sure.

Thanks, Dan.

Sponge

I'm running into the same sort of thing. The top one does kind of look like a sponge. I google image searched and it came back with anything from Pods to bird poop. I do have pods in my tank, so I'm inclined to lean that way, as far as google image search goes.
