His gills look a bit red from the photos. I typically did water changes at the first sight of any green.

It could just be the pictures on my phone.
His gills are really red as is his side and even maybe behind his pecs

Yeah unfortunately I'm not real knowledgeable in diagnosing ammonia poisoning but I trust the experts here.

It could also be an infection which they have you addressing. Regals are particularly suceptible to ammonia poisoning, however.

Been going an hour but her bucket is too well insulated. She's dropped about 1 degree think I will transfer her to a ziplock

Ok, he's all done. Handled it well. The acriflavin seemed almost soothing

So here is my previous schedule (bold parts are done).
3/21/2017 - Day 1 - add fish (10 am)
3/23/2017 - Day 3 - Transfer (12:30 pm)
3/25/2017 - Day 5 - Prazi
3/26/2017 - Day 6 - Transfer (11:30 pm)
3/27/2017 - Day 7 - Metroplex, Kanaplex, acriflavin dip

3/29/2017 - Day 9 - Transfer (9 pm)
3/31/2017 - Day 11 - Prazi
4/01/2017 - Day 12 - Transfer (8 pm)
4/03/2017 - Day 14 - Final transfer to 20g QT.

How should I amend this schedule? Should I just give up on TTM and prazi or can I salvage one or the other? It feels like really a shame to give up on day 8 of ttm. If they are going to sit in this tank for a while I could set up a HOB filter (aquaclear 700) and use a seeded sponge from my tank.

You can continue on schedule. You'll just have antibiotics in the water the whole time.

Ok so:

3/21/2017 - Day 1 - add fish (10 am)
3/23/2017 - Day 3 - Transfer (12:30 pm)
3/25/2017 - Day 5 - Prazi
3/26/2017 - Day 6 - Transfer (11:30 pm)
3/27/2017 - Day 7 - Metroplex, Kanaplex, acriflavin dip

3/29/2017 - Day 9 - Transfer (9 pm)
3/29/2017 - Day 9 - Metro + Kan to new tank
3/31/2017 - Day 11 - Transfer (8 pm)
3/31/2017 - Day 11 - Metro + Kan to new tank... hold off second prazi? not sure
4/02/2017 - Day 13 - Final transfer to 20g QT. Metro + Kan
4/04/2017 - Day 15 - Metro + Kan dose 4 (last dose)

So now I'll sync up redosing antibiotics (every 48 hours right?) and the TTM, it won't cost me an extra transfer because of the annoying thing where I lost a day at the start of the TTM. I also like not going three days because in the back of my mind I'm still a little worried this was a response to ammonia from three days in a 10g (although the gramma seems just fine).

The only thing I'm worried about now is if I should go ahead and skip the second prazi. I could throw a second or even third air line in if that would offest the oxygen depletion of having 2 antibiotics and prazi.

Go ahead and do it assuming the angel is getting better and not worse. Increasing O2 is always a good idea.

One last silly little question about antibiotic dosing. Tomorrow I will do a 50% water change (5g) and the day after that they will do a TTM to a fresh tank with a fresh full dose of antibiotics. Should I just replenish the Kan/metro in the 5g of new water during the water change? I assume the answer is yet but I wanted to make sure.

You want them to be exposed to the antibiotics constantly.
I agree and I also agree with more oxygen is better than less. I always throw an airstone in my qt/ht

The angel is in zombie mode... I can't really tell if it's just a function of him not liking the current PVC layout or the fact that none of the walls are painted. He does break out of zombie mode to eat though, which is really awesome.

She never gets much though because the Gramma is a purple and yellow brine seeking missile

This thread had me on the edge of my chair last night - glad to see the angel came through all of that!

Can you offer food the gramma won't get as excited about? Something the angelfish can pick from the substrate, the same way she'd pick algae or sponges on the reef?

That's a good idea. I offered nori last transfer day and there was a big corner missing. I'm guessing that was the angel. I'll offer it again tomorrow. She really does look better today, I'm hopeful that in 10 days he will be out of the woods.

So I'm in a very small bind and curious about how I should handle it. I ended up using my second check valve yesterday on the airation for the bath. I rinsed it off afterwords but it's probably not 100% dry (the wet items sit in my basement with an inefficient furnace). Does the water end up getting into the airline tubing and to the check valve? Only if the air pump turns off right? It never did last night so I'm inclined to think it's ok. Alternatively I could wait till tomorrow to start airating the water and buy a new one. Basically is this the kind of thing worth fussing about or should I just use it?

@Areseebee Was the check valve ever submerged in water? If not, just rinse it off very thoroughly to wash away any theronts from the mist.
