I believe eels can only see a few inches in front of them. Unless you smell like a fish....I'd never sleep again
Hes got some teeth for sure. And at around 3ft long he'll definitely send you to the hospital if he gets ahold of you.And I thought sticking my hands in the tank with the danged clowns was iffy... I'd be wearing a shark suit in that tank.

Nah... I'm good. The clowns actually draw blood sometimes, that's enough for me. lolHes got some teeth for sure. And at around 3ft long he'll definitely send you to the hospital if he gets ahold of you.
My clowns have been more aggressive towards me then him lol hes really well behaved, the only time i really have to be careful is during feedings. Otherwise if i gotta put my hands in the tank ill wait til hes on the otherside or give him a small nudge to move. Hes never attempted to go after my hand but i also pull out anytime he looks in my direction lolNah... I'm good. The clowns actually draw blood sometimes, that's enough for me. lol
I'd have a muzzle on him while working in the tank. And yes, clowns can be jerks. My clowns have been more aggressive towards me then him lol hes really well behaved, the only time i really have to be careful is during feedings. I agree, eels have always been my favorite since i first got into the hobby 16 years ago and the dragon was my dream fish from the moment i learned of them. Took a long time but i finally got him last year hahaHands down, the best looking eels. I will never own one though. Those teeth are nuts.
Yeah they are wild. It's cool too think something with those colors even exist, looks like something a kid would draw up. That is the path I seem to be on with volatin lionfish. Reason I got into the hobby, but might be a very long time if ever I get one. Similar issues to keeping a 4 foot fish eating eel...I agree, eels have always been my favorite since i first got into the hobby 16 years ago and the dragon was my dream fish from the moment i learned of them.
