IMHO - this is not aptasia - based on the photos shown
IMHO you are wrong. They are 120% aiptasia. Just thousands and thousands of them so they stayed small hence don’t have the long stalks you are referring to.
I have an infection that’s MUCH better than this but they still look Exactly the same when they start as planulae and not from clones of adults

Kinda cool. I'd probably add some GSP and Xenia and enjoy the sway.
