I heard many many bad things about möbius so I stayed with Reeflink as long as possible till about a month ago I lost connection with Reeflink for like a month so I switched.

now, all my settings were corrupted on möbius, one stayed on when the power came back and the rest were off. Then a few slowly came back on. However, when it was scheduled to be off for all, the one that came on earlier stayed on! Jesus Christ!

then I had to do the settings all over and there are “schedule” and “point” intensity that confused the hell out of me.

also, the “preview” is much brighter than the actual schedule intensity, why?

I really wish the smart boy that came up with this software sees this and many of other posts how suck they really are.

lastly, I am still running other lights on reef link for my other tank and prob stay with it for awhile.

if you read the whole post, I really appreciated it, I just want to vent.

They just came on for no reasons, luckily I covered the tank up. They’re supposed to be off! what the heck!!!!!!!!

I (and i suspect many others) would pay good money for an updated ReefLink that worked with all the newer lights. Just to have wiFi and not this Bluetooth crap... Edit: (<and I meant s-h-*-t)

I am a pragmatic, switching to Mobius was painful, for sure, but it did improve recently or I got used to it. I had lots of issues with dropped connections with reeflink, now Mobius seem to be more stable. I like their widgets.

Yo I know this is going to sound really stupid because it is but I would be willing to bet that the reason that is happening is because your time and date are off go to settings and update and ill bet u it stops happend to me still mad about it lol

I spent 35 min on hold and dang near had a heart attack when one of my brand new lights didn't come on for the guy to tell me that and sure enough

The one that was off I removed it, reinstalled now a few stayed on!!!!!!!

Here’s a trick that always works for me when my lights act up. Go to settings, time, them hit set current time. Seems to correct lights not following the schedule

I literally removed all 6 lights and reinstalled them again. I wanted to switched back to reef link but I can’t add them wirelessly so for now I will see if this genius app stays ok or not. What a pain in the A

Oh boy. I got these used but my friend told me he wanted to get rid of the G5/6 so bad but just too much hassles so I sticking with them for now. SMH

So if that’s the case why one came on then rest were off for about 2 hours then slowly came back on prob about 30 mins in between? I also checked the time and it was right then click the current time. (Took this picture now but)

Hopefully that will solved the issue. I am having a headaches now. Reef was leaking now this smh

Another thing I want to point out is that in case the geniuses are reading this post, please stop setting the lights to 100% intensity when first turned on, scared the hell out of me and the fish, prob my neighbors too.

I think it's nuts you can add an AI light to mobius. You should be able to add radions and vertechs to MY AI. I never have a problem with The AI app. I probably have 30 AI light on my phone at work. I come home and can't connect to 1 tank
