Yeah I have no idea what is going on. I just moved it back a little and it blew up like a balloon. Nobody is responding to help me out hereI have no idea, but I will give this a bump because I am curious also.
It is looking better now. Here it is a few hours later.I've seen a couple of others posts like this on r2r, I tried searching now and couldn't find them, but others have had this experience. The other posts had no real conclusion, it would be very interesting to know why that happens.
Great. It’s good that it is looking better now. Still curious to why it was blown up.yes, it looks very good and healthy
Yes with the revive coral cleaner dip for 8 minDid you dip it ,if so what kind of dip?
No I have bot feed it yet. I will let it be for a few days. Can I feed it reef roids?Did you try to feed it when u put it in? I find it better to leave them a few day before feeding....
It is looking better now. My clowns are nipping at it. Not sure why but they seem interested in it.Hope it's doing better. I have a clown that paired with mine and no harm so far. Same thing happened with a torch and the torch ended up dying due to constant stinging.
Does the goniapora sting?Hope it's doing better. I have a clown that paired with mine and no harm so far. Same thing happened with a torch and the torch ended up dying due to constant stinging.
Ok thanks for letting me know.I started to use kci for a dip as it kills most things ... revive should be OK, some acros don't like it. Gonis should be fine. Some times they puff up if your parameters are different from what it is used to. If it looks OK after a day or so it should be fine. I feed mine once a week or so. I use benepets or reef roids tdepending if I need po4 or not. Mostly benepets for me. Any fine particulate coral food or finely choped frozen with juice left work great as well. Don't over feed...
I hope my clowns host it they have been very interested in it. They keep on nipping the coral idk why.Almost forgot, I have a sacrificial large goni for the clowns to play with. The goni gets upset but is fine for the most part. Yes goniporas sting but m"most gonipora gets a long for me with some exceptions. A torch will win if it stings a goni ime..
