Why is my lemon damselfish got a lot of silver on it

Also can you keep more than one jewel damsel in a tank I already have a small one with a clear tail because he is so small can I get another one

Depends on the tank size, but if the only reason you think you can do it is because the fish is currently small, absolutely not. Remember, they'll grow. You have to plan for the full-grown size and attitude of the fish, not how it is currently.
