Why the Kessil H380 was my best purchase ever

I also run the Sicce Silent 3.0. I have an Eshopps cube sump under a 35g cube tank. Half of the water from the overflow goes into the fuge and half goes into a filter sock and into the skimmer chamber. Let me clean the film off the acrylic and I'll post a pic up. There's a ton of pictures in my build thread also, but you'll have a hunt thru for a while... It's quite long.

I ordered one from BRS last night, should be here on Friday. I can't wait to get it up and running. Then, my tank will be all Kessil's, two ap700's for the display and the H380 for the fuge. Btw, I love your signature, crabs.

@crabs_mcjones here's my fuge now... my chaeto has seen better days. Just tested water today and I have 16ppm nitrates and .68ppm phosphates. It should be growing like crazy but it's been shrinking and I just shook it up and it halfway fell apart. Anyway I'm off to the store to get some cable.

Is it insanely loud? I only ask because mine seems to be dead silent. Or at least I cant hear it over the skimmer and the filter socks.

AFAICT there is the spectrum shift from "bloom" (red centric) to grow (blue centric, well more like equal centric) confusing things..

And a few whites thrown into the chip as well.. but not many..same w/ UV(?)

Yea, seemed like it.
I don't see "whites". RGB in there really.
The YO and R seem a bit blended but it's there.
The couple other cheapo ones of seen graphs of and the ones in Europe for industrial wharhouse horticulture keep a bit more into yellow , but that could be manufacture.

Honestly , I can't use em. Makes my OCD explode.
Interesting though.

Alright back from the store and I have my H380 hung over the fuge. Holy smokes is this thing bright. @saltyfilmfolks, see if you can make sense out of the Seneye stuff...

I had to mount it 6 1/2" over the water. Any higher and I get too much spillover into the filter sock and skimmer. The chaeto just sinks so it's a good distance away from the light.
