I am worried about my Bubblegum Digitata Montipora. Yesterday I moved the rock it's on slightly and also rearranged and reglued a few corals (****** urchin :-/ ) including the BDM. So, I moved 2 Zoa colonies to the same rock with my original Zoa's to create a Zoa Garden of sorts. I also moved the BDM slightly to the right, more in the center of the rock and it's the highest point of the rocks in my tank (roughly halfway up) and I moved my Green Birdsnest from the right of the BDM to the left side and also reglued my Red Monti Cap (open to suggestions on glue or methods of gluing so my Urchin can't pull them up). During the process of making these changes my female Maroon Clownfish was incessantly attacking my hands and her little boyfriend was trying to do the same and I moved my hand just the right way to knock the rock down and the BDM fell completely off the rock onto the sand and also snapped the base and 2 branches off my Green Birdsnest which I glued back on and it is doing just fine but almost all of the BDM's polyps have receded except a few on the base. I also noticed that my 18 month old daughter managed to turn off both of the wave makers that are on the back glass but the 2 on the sides were still on. I immediately turned them back on as soon as I noticed. I have also been dosing NOPO-X and have Phosguard and Carbon in my filter socks to try and lower Nitrate and Phosphate (I do have a somewhat heavy bioload) and I also have a refugium with Chaeto and Caleurpa. I noticed the start of a bacterial bloom last night and decided to just stop carbon dosing. I had started with 5ml daily and did that for about 2 weeks and then started dosing 7ml daily for the last week. I am skimming pretty wet and have air stones in my sump as well along with a sponge filter powerhead in the fuge to help with the flow. I did also dose a maintenance dose of MicrobeLift Special Blend last night too. I originally got the BDM along with some GSP, Favia, Anthelia, some kind of small brown Mushroom and a Kenya Tree from a somewhat local reefer when purchasing the 20g long that he was using as a coral QT and it was overrun with bryopsis. Both the BDM and the Favia were in pretty poor condition when I got them. The BDM was all white on one side and had very little polyp extension. Before today it was doing great it had all of it's color back on the one side and was brighter and even started getting the green tips again with all of the polyps fully extended and looking healthy. Unfortunately I don't know the PAR in my tank (I do plan to rent a PAR meter soon) but I have a NICREW LED strip light that I had on my old tank, one 2 lamp T5 with blue+ and coral+ and a black box LED light. I run 100% blue and about 10% white on both of the LEDs and like I said my rockscape only goes about halfway up the tank but I do have about 1lb per gallon. I do 15% weekly water changes every Sunday and change my filter socks every 3-4 days. I wouldn't think moving it right next to where it was originally would cause this but honestly I guess it's possible or maybe it's stressed from the fall? Sorry my post is a little all over the place. I was just trying to remember any and everything I have done/changes in the last 2 days. I did also move my Urchin back into the DT from the sump as well which is what prompted me to rearrange/reglue the corals.

Most likely it will recover, but how big is the piece now that it has been snapped? Polyps recede all the time and almosf always come back. I dont think u should worry too much.. they are hardy sps

Sorry I somehow posted it before I was done typing it up. The first few pictures are from 3 days ago before being dropped and the last few are from when I first got the 2 to show their prior improvement. I will get pictures of what it looks like now in a few minutes.

And these pictures I just took a couple of minutes ago. Also discovered my GBTA on the move on top of my Coco Worm :-( . It was residing underneath to the right of where the BDM is and was there for months but after all the chaos yesterday/Thursday it moved to a lone rock on the sandbed at the back of the tank and apparently decided to move again when the lights went out.

You just introduced a lot of stress to the tank. Just give it a couple days to recover.

If it's not open in a couple days, or you start to see flesh peeling, or polyps disappearing, then it's time to start trying to figure out whats going on.
