Will the Berlin method work for my 36g?

Hi everyone. I'm converting a 36g fw to sw. I've been researching equipment and methods, and the Berlin method of live rock and a skimmer appeals to me. I'm interested in everyone's opinion on this!

IMO, best way. There are many ways to get the job done, and everyone has their own way...but for me its always been skimmer, live rock and sometimes a macro algae/refugium depending on if coral will be in the system or not.

Thanks! It makes the most sense to me and I want to keep things simple. Besides, live rock will never break down or have to be replaced. A great investment if you ask me.
