Beautiful! I am so new to this- I just bought an anemone, do they need to have light on at night?

i am new to this as well but i do not leave my light on at night and it seams to be fine so fare but i would post a new thread about it i would like to know as well sory i could not be more help this is my first reef

I kept a bta in a 28g nano cube successfully, just keep it fed, well lit and it'll find a happy spot with nice flow

I feed it mysis and reef roids just becas I feed it at the same time as my dunkens and thats what I feed them

your success, or lack there of, with your new inhabitants will have little to do with luck. :)

Okay, I guess luck does play a small part in it but learning as much as you can and having the right equipment/parameters will not require near as much luck. ;)

I would highly recommend not spot feeding either...feed your fish - no more - see how that goes for a while.

The single biggest mistake is overfeeding -
