+1 AEFW, and a very heavy infestation at that. Nasty little things. I can see a massive one at the base, and all of those orange clusters are eggs.

Is this a new acro, and is it the only one that’s affected, so far? If you shine a flash light on your other acros, you should be able to see whether or not there are little white bite marks or not.

I normally advocate for trying to save every coral if possible…I’d be tempted to toss that one or at least cut off whatever is dead. If you have a separate coral hospital/QT tank, put it in there.

Whether or not you attempt to save this one, you’ll want to dip the acros in revive or coral rx. If you have smooth skin acros, that’s a little tougher because they can be sensitive to a lot of dips. I’ve never used it, but a lot of people like Bayer’s. What I normally do for smooth skin acros is use Coral RX at half the recommended dose and dip for half the recommended time. It seems to work, and I have not lost a smooth skin acro to dips using this method. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the bottle. The dip should get rid of any adults, but it won’t affect the eggs. You can scrap off the eggs you see, but you will need to dip again in about a week to get rid of any eggs you missed. You’ll likely have to perform 2-4 dips to eradicate them.

Dip will not kill these eggs. You must physically scrape them off and check the next 2 weeks to assure they are all gone

Snip the skeleton off and get most of the eggs? Then further attention to it
