Well, my 20 year old eclipse tank that I just set up for qt has died. I like the aio concept with a lid. Would something like this work even though it’s designed for fresh?

It would— but for the price you may prefer this. I have two of them. But of course you could only QT a rather small fish.

Would it work, yes. Any tank will work. Truthfully, I prefer adding on a bio wheel where you can change out media from an established tank if needed or filter floss/carbon... cheap at the $1 per gallon sale and get a 20 or 40 ...
