$99. Lol. And I honestly don’t care. There is nothing near me. The only local suppliers I’ve found don’t have the best looking specimens (at least in pics I’m sure they’re prettier in person).
I hear that I got mine when they were on sale it was 29.99

Mine has never looked like that. At this rate I am not sure it ever will.

My Illuminatis grow very fast. They like high par and high flow. My tank is also pretty low in nutrients. My last icp test showed .04 phosphates and zero nitrates. I can take a picture of my colony tomorrow when the lights are on.

I'm finding they like a little more light after you acclimate them. Yours looks great. I hope it multiplies quickly for you!

Yeah it came in very tall. I’m assuming they grow them in low light environments and that’s why they’re stretching out of the box

About a year. They have a good feeding response. Give them frozen mysis. High light and high flow.
I have a greedy Blenny and Basslet. Might be hard. Reef roids might be okay? I will try to chop up the mysis and see if they will take it.

Theyre pretty slow growers compared to my other zoas. They were also pretty touchy, the first few weeks in the tank they didnt look right either umbrellaing, closed up or streching. But eventually they settled down. I went from 2 heads to about 15/20 in 9 months
You consider 2 heads to 15/20 slow growers? Wow1 What is your secret! MIne grow very slow, My ph isnt above 8 so many be thats why and I cant think of an easy way for a woman to get the ph up! LOL. I keep hearing never use a ph bosster because it ups alk but i know there are some that claim they dont. I am going to post a pic of some zoas sold as infrared but I know they are not because I just got some nighmares in that look alot like them but brighter! Do oyu are anyone know what this zoa is? Sorry pic is so blurry!
