My youngest son, Xander Nguyen, is in the mid of his BSA Eagle Scout Project. Xander have done all the planning, proposal, cost estimated. Paperwork have been summited and approved. He is raising money for his project at this time. Attached is the flyer he did to solicitation donations for his project.

Please take a little time to read about his project and consider donation some money for this worthwhile project. Please contact Xander if you have any question, or need further clarification. As his father/immediate family member I was told that I can help but cannot donate money to his project.

If any of my Reefer Family can help, we greatly appreciated.

Xander is the youngest of my three sons. My wife and I have been blessed with three great young men as sons. Both of my two older sons are Eagle Scouts. Xander, with a little help will, hopefully, be the third Eagle in our family. Thanks everybody.

We are at Camp Alexander in Lake George Colorado this last week. Our troop is driving home right now. We only allow to drive 10 hrs per day by BSA, so we stop for 2 night in the way up and 3 nights on the way back. Going to 3 National Parks IMG_9824.jpeg and 1 state park. What a great project! As an old Eagle Scout, and a dad to a brand new Weblos, I get it. How close is he to his goal? Did he make it?

He is about 1/2 way. He will also do car wash(s) until he raise the rest. The more he can raise the less car washes. He will ask for donation from Home Depo. Anything over he will donate to the beneficiary which is the school.

He has to plan for all contingencies in his plan.

Dutch Oven at camp Alexander. It did not cook well at high attitude, but it was good nevertheless. A little runny.
I guess water does not boil at the same temperature up here.

White water rafting. That was really fun trip down the Arkansas river.

Sunrise from the mountain top at camp Alexander. We start the hike at 3AM to get to the top before sunrise . Hike up Cardiac ridge, and Scout Master Graveyard hill before we get to the top. It was a rough 90 mins hike that took everything from me (at 62). I really can see why they name these landmarks. Funny but some truth in it. Photo of sunrise does not do it justice. Fog turn the valley into a “lake”

I have heard of a double bogie but a triple eagle now that is impressive.
Congratulations.

I still want my merit badge for surviving the Boy Scouts.
