XR30's or XR15's

The orginal plan was to go with 4 xr15's for this standard 120gallon. Ended up getting a good deal on the dx18 dimmable fixture.

Tank will be mixed with mostly sps and I plan on upgrading within the next year or so to a 6x4x30" or 8x3x30"

I have one XR15 now. Should I get 3 more and run with the t5s or would the 2 XR30's work better now and on the future bigger tank?

Depends on how big you're going to go. Two XR30s would be lots for this tank (you might even be able to get away with three XR15s). I have 2x XR30s and a single XR15 on my 59" Red Sea 750XXL.
