So an update This morning my ammonia and nitrite are both 0. I did lose my goby I had for over 14 months, but the other fish and inverts seem to be doing well.

Thank you all for the help and comments. Looking back I think I should have moved the goby to my brute can with 30 gallons of freshly mixed saltwater to give him some relief. May not have mattered, but would have been a better option I think. Then add everything to the DT for the bio filter. Live and learn I guess.
