Yellow Tang very sick. Please help!

I have a sick Yellow Tang. I’ve tried everything. Nothing has worked. I have no idea what this is because it seems like a combination of everything possible.
He or she also looks like she has possibly gone blind?
None of the other fish are affected.

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10

Salinity: 0.023

Temp: 80 degrees

Any help would be appreciated.

What are the things you have tried?

I would start prepping a qt/hospital tank until the medics get here.

I see a sore in the back so could be a mix of something bacterial and black ich/regular ich?

And when’s the last time it ate? And what do you feed it? Seems very thin

This has been going on for about 2 weeks. First I noticed the “dust” so I tried crushed ginger. That didn’t work and then I tried the MetroPlex. That seemed to help a lot and I thought it did the trick, but whatever this is came back even worse. Then I tried KanaPlex. That did nothing. It had a good appetite until yesterday. I’ve been feeding a mix of Emerald Entre, Marine Cuisine, Brine Shrimp, and Nori. It had a good healthy weight until just about a week ago.

The fish Medics will need more information. Breathing Rate, any scratching/flashing, tank mates, recent additions, etc.

Not breathing heavy. 2 clowns and 2 fire gobies

The 2 gobies were recent additions that I added about 3 weeks before I noticed the “dust.”

I see some indication of HLLE, not a problem but is common in Tangs and not fatal. That could be diet related as you fish is thin and how much has it been eating? Tangs are usually huge pigs and eat a lot along with the constant grazing. If it ate yesterday it had to be thin for a while. You could try a fresh water dip but it would be risky and may be fatal. The Fish Medics may have additional insight as they are the experts. @vetteguy53081

I tried a freshwater dip just now. It was flukes. But I’m pretty sure my tang didn’t survive. I think it was too far gone

Yes I have done freshwater dips a few times myself and its scary what you see come off of your fish. Hopefully the other fish don't have any issues.

Age of the fish (unknown??), yellows can go 25 years(average is 15), that worn down is not overnight .....wow rip to to our friend....

Yeah but luckily now I know what to look for and can hopefully catch it in time for them to recover.

Just wondering can you provide us some background information regarding the fish? Was it a new addition or? I think this information will be beneficial for others who might face this issue down the road.
