What’s going on with this guy , he seems to be driving his lip side or gill into the glass

Have you just recently put him into that small tank for quarantine? If so, it just looks like he's checking out the physical parameters of his new world-- which sure isn't the ocean. Lol.

He was spent a night at lfs , was eating pellets , brought him home for a night , afternoon he was eating Japanese seaweed . Any suggestions are welcomed ! Not sure if flukes or ich on the gill , this is my first time qt a fish , and yes it’s a small 10 gallon qt :/

My recent two spot tang did this for a whole week. Didn't eat the first few days. Now hes in the DT and eats + swims around. Just keep an eye on him

Ich or flukes?

Just let him "glass surf" a little. Wich btw can take a very long time sometimes. My cole tang of 4 months still does it from time to time.

He looks healthy! No signs of anything bothering him atm. Except maybe you No worries
