You need to curate your manufacturer claims better.

While I got Jack Kent of Brightwell to fix his ludicrous claims about Magnesion P years ago (2015 to be exact), you still propagate their falsehoods about the material in the product.

"
Guaranteed Analysis
Magnesium (min) 43% (430,000 ppm)

Ingredients
Magnesium sulfate (anhydrous), Magnesium chloride (anhydrous)"

I'll copy my seven year old email to him so you can understand the problem finally fix your web stie:

For many years now, you\'ve had serious errors on your Magnesion P wed site description, including the Guaranteed Analysis being way off. It simply cannot be 43% magnesium or have the magnesium boost per gram added that you claim based on the ingredients you add.

You use anhydrous magnesium chloride (25.5% magnesium) and anhydrous magnesium sulfate (20.2% magnesium). There is just no combination of these ingredients that can have more than 25.5% magnesium.

Especially since this is your guaranteed analysis, it would behoove you to five this before people start asking for refunds. It will also save me the trouble of continually explaining to people online why you have such strange claims.

Thank you
Randy

You'll note that Brightwell itself did fix the issue years ago:

"
Ingredients

Magnesium sulfate (anhydrous), Magnesium chloride (anhydrous)

Guaranteed Analysis

Magnesium (min) 24% (240,000 ppm)"

Have you seen their recent ads for salt? They still state this Tropic Marin Reef Pro:

“It is mixed using pharmaceutical-grade ingredients which means you can be confident there won't be any harmful impurities.”

Given the finding of clay material and subsequent recall, hardly a statement that should be touted right now while investigation continues…

Hi Randy, thanks for bringing this to our attention! We've updated our product page to reflect the updated information that Brightwell has listed on their website. If you ever see anything on our website that doesn't look quite right, don't hesitate to send us a PM and we're happy to investigate.
