Do zoa close up when they eat? I fed mine some phyto two days ago and the ones that got the periphery of the phyto spray were open today but the ones that got heavy phyto werent. Is this normal? They’ve been in the tank three days.

also I had 3 polyps of about 20 break off today. I couldn’t reglue them. Will that hurt the colony?

When mine actively eat they close for a maybe an hour.
As for the zoanthids that fell off, no that should not hurt the colony at all.
If part of the colony remains closed post an image of the colony.
Did you dip them?

No I didn’t dip them. They’ve been opening and closing randomly today. Like part of the colony will be open and another closed then they’ll swap.
