Is something pestering them like a fish or invert? Have you tried dipping them? And have you noticed them reducing in numbers or still growing or just staying the same?

Yes dip them for sure. Any time I have concern about a coral I dip it if not just to be proactive. You’ll be surprised at what kind of junk falls off the frags. I will give a couple suggestions though; use a white or light colored container. It’ll be easier to make out the critters that fall off. Also shake the Frag off pretty good in the dip to help loosen anything hanging on for dear life before you remove it from the solution. I’ve had spiders that don’t let go even during a dip. So shaking really helps, along with very close inspection with tweezers to gently separate the polyps and a good light source. I apologize if all that seems like common sense or you already do that. Just figured it’s worth saying.

Check the salinity with a digital readout if available at LFS. Its possible you will see how inaccurate a refractometer can be in terms of measurement. The biggest mistake I made in reefing was believing refractometers accuracy even when using calibration fluid before every test. Salinity is to often overlooked and 90% of the problem IMO. Slow down on the dipping, you can stress them to the point of melting. Correcting salinity issues can yield noticeable results in less than a day. Good luck and keep us updated

I would dip them all. I never put a coral in my tank without dipping it. You never know what kind of pests you’ll get. Your nitrates and phosphates are too high in my opinion. I know guys that keep their nitrates at 10 but that’s higher than I like for my tank. I try to keep mine around 5 but that’s just me. The guys I know that keep their nitrates at 10 have amazing tanks so I’m not knocking it by any means. Phosphate shouldn’t be above 0.1 but it’s a case by case basis really. Best to target .05 or less but not Zero, you need some phosphate. If all your corals are growing and colors are good and you have no nuisance algae then it may not matter as much.

yesterday, i bought Seachem PhosGuard i am using it in my midea hopefully my phosphate will go down i tested 2 days ago it was 0.28 i want it go down to 0.03 that's a good range to keep it. once it down i'll use the rowaphos. i flashed it 2 times 2000 ml already with rowaphos, still 0.28 it was 0.80 my corals died finally talking to local fish store they told me what was really happening, i did ask in here no one really new what was going on.

next step is checking on my nitrate level was going to do a water change yesterday i'll do it today, i have to use the media to keep the nitrate level down, i am running refugium
