hey guys
Anyone have any experience with zoa pox? I have a question...
Plan on getting some furan2. Doing the treatment reccomended on coral pedia.

Can I treat the healthy ones too? I have two colonies that for sure have it and another 2-3 that don't have any white spots (yet?). Can I dip all as precaution?
Thanks in advance!

Yes you can! I use 1 pack per 1-2 cups of tank water usually after the first 2 or 3 treatments its gone. Theres some type of protocol floating around, but personally, ill bathe them for 15-20 minutes a day untill its gone

I dont know for sure...but I have 3-5 colonies (probably 5-10 heads) that have one or two polyps affected by blister looking things. Sometimes they will open, sometimes they wont. but the white blister thing looks like its getting bigger.
Right now I cant get on mobile or I would show you pics.

Thanks-Im still trying to get ahold of some furan lol looks like Ill have to order it.
Im 95% sure its pox...from everything Ive read anyway. I did pop one of the blisters and I killed that specific head (on purpose) and the rest of the colony was unaffected.

Also, do you guys know...will the bacteria stay in the tank once the treatment is done? IE do I need to worry about it coming back?
