Zoa Spider.

Is this a Zoa spider? I found it on my arm in my tank while moving a large rock with lots of zoas on it.

Yes.

It could be a regular sea spider, but considering you found it while handling zoas, 100% a zoa eating spider. I think most sea spiders are bad anyways.

There could be more, so I would try to administer a dip on all zoa colonies.

Thanks much. I thought so. This guy was pretty big though. Probably 1/4"

If you get a zoa spider eating sea snake , you'll be okay.

But it may open you up to a venom blast . Ask @F i s h y about it.

I presume the seasnake venom is sl I slightly more irritating than the zoa palytoxin. Maybe I could just rent him for awhile and return him to my lfs. I'm sure they'd be glad to have him back 🙄

Correct!

But in reality I had one in my tank. They do not asexually reproduce
