Zoas are inverting

So one of my zoas is starting to act funny. See pic below. It looks like they’re inverting, the opposite way from when they close. Very strange. Any thoughts as to what’s going on?

My parameters are all great. Nitrates are 4. Phosphates 0.0. Ph 8.2. Dkh 9.2. Salinity 1.024. Ca 400.

The only nonstandard parameter is mg, which I’ve intentionally spiked to 1,700 to try and fight an outbreak of green hair algae.

It's often referred to zoanthid umbrella syndrome. I dont believe its widely known exactly why they do it, but its speculated that changes in lighting, or water chemistry is the culprit. They tend to go back to normal on their own.

Interesting. I guess the high mg would be considered a change in water chemistry. I hope to bring that back firm eventually, if I can ever get rid of these small sections of GHA.
