So I just got trace colors from Red Sea, I am using about 52 ml weekly of calcium on my 200 gallon system, let’s just say 50 ml for this Scenario this week.
Would I be correct to say that I would just dose at 5ml of each element this week? Would that be correct??
thanks in advance!!
I have been reefing for over 8 years now and I am finally becoming more serious about coral growth and parameters and the overall health of my tank, rather than just reef keeping. I recently purchased and made the move to a Red Sea Reefer 525 XL.
It has been set up for a little less than a...
This tank has been up and running for a bit but I thought I'd start a build thread for it.

I recently purchased a Red Sea Reefer 250 and found my plumbing looks a lot different that what others are putting together. I'm hoping to add a ReefMat and trying to figure out how to add my Control Panel Slide Out 25 where I would prefer it go but there are pipes here.
However, the videos...
Hi, Im thinking of upgrading to a larger aquarium and going from weekly water changes to monthly water changes with dosing. Im trying to figure out how much I would need to dose each week / day to get the right amount of each element (and then getting an estimate of how much it will cost me.)...
Just getting back in so not sure if to spend on the Hanna checkers for calc alk mag and phos or purchase something else like red sea or api or any other out there now
I just got the trace color ABCD from Red Sea. My question is can I equally mix all four together in a separate bottle and dose it all at once using my Neptune doser? Or do I have to keep them separate and individually dose? Thanks in advance
Wanting to upgrade some stuff! Anyone selling a trident system to improve my monitoring, also looking to buy a
Red Sea skimmer, ideally an RSK 600, but open to a RSK 300, also a salinity probe for Neptune,
I know this is controversial, but there is no way red sea tanks are worth the money at all in the slightest. I bought a red sea 250 after moving and needing to downsize from my 150(which was just a standard 150 from planet aquariums I purchased from my lfs). It was somewhat sudden and I didn't...
Hello everyone I hope that you are all well.
I wanted to get your views on my aquascape. I'm new to the hobby. I've used all dry rock at the moment. I will add some live rock to it at some point.

The...
Hello Everyone I hope that you are all well. Wishing you all a very happy new year.
I am currently setting up my first tank red sea reefer 625. I wanted some help with the stock list. I'm almost ready to start it up and cycle it.
This is a list of fish that I would like to keep. Wanted to...
This is the refresh of my original 3D Printed Test Kit Organizer Tray thread. The first post showcased now-old designs and one had to dig through the thread to find the new stuff, so a new thread was made to clean things up a bit as the old cannot be edited (Old thread will be deleted/closed by...
Hello everyone, I've come across two designs of the Red Sea blue bucket salt, but not sure which is the current version and which is the old version. One bucket gives measurements for 35.5ppt where the alkalinity is 7.7 dKh, the other design gives measurements for 35ppt where the alkalinity is...

After years of lurking here and on multiple subreddits, watching and learning, I’ve finally pulled the trigger and gotten my first tank up and running. I don’t think I could be happier. I have a Red Sea Max Nano, I’ve recently completed the cycle and begun stocking. I have a black ice clown...
Looking to upgrade from my Bubble Magus Curve 5, which is currently running in my Red Sea Reefer 350 system (Heavy Bioload). The two options I have are the following:
Reefer Skimmer - RSK-300
Reef Octopus eSsence S-130 Protein Skimmer
Which skimmer would you pick? Judging by the pump...

Well after 7 years of having a 29 gallon and 75 gallon and being in my new home for the last 5 years, I’ve decided to put the finishing touch on my man cave and add a 310 gallon Planet Aquarium reef ready tank in it. I started...
Hey all,
I bought a used Red Sea Max Nano 20g and will be using this thread as a personal journal of sorts and hopefully getting some feedback on my set up.
Currently, it is sitting in the bathroom running a vinegar/water 1.5:18.5 mix through it. Using this to check for leaks, to clean the...
I have a 25 gallon AIO with a refugium in the middle chamber. The amount of chaeto is probably the size of several softballs now. Yesterday, I dosed 2.5 mL of Brightwell Aquatics Ferrion, 1 mL of Red Sea Trace Colors Iron+, and performed a 15% water change. Prior to that I hadn't done a water...

I'm considering getting a dosing pump. I'm intrigued by the new Red Sea dosers the most, but I have also heard good things about the Kamoer X1 pumps. Anybody have any thoughts on these or suggestions on others? I like the Red Sea one because it is a more compact option for 4 dosers.
Currently I...
My 65 gallon tank is currently stocked as follows:
2 ocellaris clowns
Orchid dottyback
Lemon damsel
Tomini tang
