Should I put the pump at the top of the glass or medium range? What are the possibilities it turns on and shocks everythinhg? Lol overthinker here. Also I'm going to start it at 20% any objections to that?

I have mine at 40% in a 40 gallon.

Ok pump is in, made a sputter noise and its only spitting flow in second intervals. It'll flow..stop..flow etc. im gonna play with the controller here any tips? Controller says F100.

I haven't changed the filters and I can't remember what the TDS reading was but I can check it again when I get home. I do remember it's very low from the tap and even lower thriving the RODI filter.

TDS need to be 0
and depending on the use, but it is advisable to change the filters at least once a year, I do it every 6 months, whether they are dirty or not, just as a precaution.

Random flow and pulse flow are different, I don't know if other powerheads do it but my nero 3 in random flow doesn't make pulsations

My MP-10s in random mode do just that, they ramp up and back down but don't pulse. There is a pulse mode, but in my non-technical mind, I think it would wear them out faster. I have no idea if that's true or not... so...

It's easy to check. Run the RO/DI for about 30 seconds and then check the TDS meter. My system has a TDS on it and as soon as water starts flowing through it the meter turns on. At first it'll show TDS due the water that's been sitting in there, but not soon after it displays "0".

I commend your optimism and confidence! On that note, I think your filters are doing their job and quite well at that.

I run my ow 10s at 80%,ow40s @ 50%,straight flow, no pulse all pointing at each other or the bottom or side.
The more random swirl and flow the better.
All of them have been going 5 years or more.

I spent a year out in Mesa working in the ICU at Mountain Vista Medical Center, I'm a Registered Nurse. I would often go to Seguaro and Canyon lakes on the weekends.

The hygger he's talking about absolutely does. At least mine does. What he's describing is exactly what is to be expected, with THIS SPECIFIC pump. Can't say for sure about others.

Not looking too good. The zoas may be okay, not sure about the acans. He shipped me a freebie. I just got some really good photos of them, let me know if yall think they have the chance to be saved.
