Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Thank you sir. I'm slowly upping my nutrients. N was 3.12 and P was 0.03 this morning. I'm raising N to around 10, but SLOWLY
I'm battling dinos too. Ostreopsis dinos, to be specific. I raised my nutrients, and @*GAREEF* told me to put polyfil on a nori clip, clipped to the glass, and here we are, two weeks later and they are nearly gone.

So begins my pico tank! Picked up the live rock and the sand at the lfs as well as 2 emerald crabs to add to my 125. I was not going to buy live rock because I want to use what the super awesome @Usarmy227 has sent Mr but it's a small piece that had a couple of small red mushrooms on it. It was the owners sister there today that I like and she didn't charge me extra for the mushrooms.

Awesome Amanda super cool.
Can't wait to see!

Maybe they don't like it?
It could be, there are too many conflicting opinions out there about that product but mostly about the adverse effects on tangs, my tomini doesn't seem to have been affected but I just dosed it twice and only 3ml each time

Maybe they don't like it?

My thoughts exactly.
At one point I thought about it too, that's why I even stopped dosing the new phyto, thinking about what happened to me with this shipment, that everything arrived almost dead

Phosphates down =rowaphos.
Throw that other stuff in the garbage Luis.
Don't chance it.
If there's ever conflicting comments on anything I always turn my head from that stuff.
Hate to see you lose anything my friend.

Very interesting! I will go buy some polyfill and give it a shot! Did you place it in a high flow and high light area?

I agree 1000%, my mistake for wanting to try something else

Not your fault young man!
It's all good.
You live, you learn.
I learn something every day.
Don't beat yourself up now let's fix it.

The owner of a good lfs that I go to that I have made friends with, I sold the zoas to him, he recommended it to me and there I went head first lol, I hope that is the problem and not one that I cannot identify.

I started Phosphat-e this week ( 2 times, 3 ml each time )
Luis,

You need to be very careful with Phosphat-E. I have used it a few times but it is very powerful stuff. Lanthanum Chloride. When I have used it I put 1ml on the filter pad in the overflow once a week. I put it on the pad to be sure the Phosphat-E never makes it to the display. It is slow to bring down the Phosphate but it is really just a supplement to Rowa-Phos or ChemiPure Elite/ChemiPure Blue, GFO, etc. I would stop using it for now and see if things improve. Good luck.

Doesn't have to be PolyFil. Any of the white filter sponges work. Usually called Filter Floss.
