Good night, folks!

I'm trying to get back into running, so I ran a mile today. After that, I felt motivated, and so I did an 8 mile bike ride. I'm happy that I decided to do those because it really helped my mind refresh. Like I've said before, these past few weeks have been rough, but man, it's amazing how being in nature and being active can really help my mental health. I'm going to try to run a mile almost every day from now on, potentially increasing the milage as I get better at running. Anyways, I hope you all had a nice day today.

I think the biggest thing is, A)t5 lights work, and work well. B) your used to them and they give you exactly what your looking for! @cdemoss01 lighting is a very preferential based topic. There's1000's of ways that people light a tank and a lot of those ways work. You gotta find one that you like and works for you. Based on what i've heard on podcasts, that idea that leds don't need as many watts as halide and t5 might not be as true. I've heard some big farm owners saying they run leds but they run more than you'd expect. Then there's people like Chris Meckley that live and die by metal halide lol

I've added a few acros so i'm trying to get my nitrates to 10 and my phosphates to maybe .05? Less concerned with the nitrates though. My nitrates creep up and wc are all that keeps them in check and im adding more fish all the time haha

For me, if everything looks good I just maintain whatever I'm doing, whether it be 10 gallon change, extra mag, etc.
I figure it's just about the fish anyways for me.
If they're happy, I'm happy.

Fundraiser went really well. We used to go to this parish before we moved. They are usually pretty generous to us.

I'm wiped. 2 hour drive, fundraise/visit/Mass, 2 hour drive back, 4 eldest had a 3 hour play practice )also part of the fundraiser), then took the family to dinner at the local Chinese restaurant to reward their efforts and spare anyone from cooking dinner, then helped my daughter with math.
