Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Been a long day folks, working on a top to my wife's goldfish pond outside to keep the leaf drop from getting in it. Until tomorrow, shakeygizzard has left the building, he is going down town

Good night Jimmy!

my chalice is showing that bluish edge , you will see in the pics, bummer on my acan, everything else is fine. SBB did say he has had no problems with his. But I will leave it at that
I m really interested in yours and Paul's chalices. Diyreefer has some killer acans for a good price and he stands by his corals for way longer than I would. He's just a regular guy that grows killer corals here on r2r and sells on ebay.

roughly 3 months it recently just started spreading rapidly though once it’s established it takes off here’s the day I glued it

That is insane brother. Well done!

Take it easy brother

I give you fender bender cyphastrea!
Well my fenders are certainly bent! That is probably the nicest coloration ive seen. Although that meteor shower coloration is almost surreal.

The blue torch coral seems to really like the Meridian. I just had to move it as it has extended out to the point it was starting to sting the hammers. I got my birdsnest re-glued and moved the favia. I still haven't got the flow from the gyre where I want it but I haven't spent much time on it yet,

Is that your uv up above the tank by the wall?

I can't wait to see what you think of them. While I don't think I need them, I am considering adding the 14k bars to give me a more daylight look to the tank down the road sometime. Did you buy them during their Labor Day sale? I seriously considered buying them but then I figured I might get hungry later so buying food might take precedence. Not sure that was a good judgement call.
Definitely like them for supplemental light for the halides. I put them up temporarily and they give an additional 100+PAR to their coverage area. Mind you, these will be used as ramp up/down respectively with the halides
