some clams are photosynthetic but benefit from feeding. phytoplankton?

Hard to know until it's all gone but maybe around $30k so far

Beautiful pictures Parker! Is that a maxima or a squamosa? If it’s a Maxima you’ll need to get it off the sand and up high on your rockscape. They are filter feeders but like corals get a lot of what they need from light, a lot of it. Phytoplankton will meet there nutritional requirements.

Clams get most of the energy through photosynthesis. However, since they are filter feeders. You could dose phyto or a powdered plankton blend if you desire.

Here's what they got at the first one as far as corals and I think the green thing is some type of algea?

I'd probably have grabbed the Harp Tail Blenny and at least 1 Mermaid's Fan...

Or this one... Maybe it's not a Mermaid's Fan.

Ended up not getting shrimp at petco and decided instead to stop at my LFS they have them for $3.99 each I got 12 but only paid for 10 getting he said two of them were tiny and I got a variety of colors blue, yellow, red and clear. I meant to get a picture before I let them go in the tank but I forgot. Hopefully Henry the betta doesn't eat them. Lol

Harp tail blenny? The second store i went to is normally the better of the two but this time the few corals they had looked dead and they only had a few clowns and a dotty back. Had i known the second one was going to be no good i might have been less picky at the first one. Lol

Was Strauss opening for Cooper or playing with? looks like he had a great time. Were a lot of people dressed up?

Strauss was playing with him. She's his shredder right now. He had 4 guitars on stage, including bass. Yeah the crowd was awesome. Of course you had every age group. I loved seeing some of the older folks dressed up in their top hats and leather lol. It was awesome

That reminds me of a Shetland Pony my family owned. That was its normal gait. It was possibly the meanest equine I ever saw.

It was probably a Midas but the yellow blenny swimming in picture 2 behind the corals.

Bettas occasionally fine Cherry shrimp tasty.

The green looks like Merman's Shaving Brush. A pretty neat macro algae. It sends off shoots under the sand and new ones pop up from time to time some distance from the 'parent'.
