I printed my first thing off of my first 3D printer. It’s something I thought my wife would like and, in a rare instance, I was right. She loves it!

First pic, the ornament is sandwiched between breakfast for size reference.

Second and third pics are more for color as the first pic doesn’t show the actual color very well.

Oh nice! I printed a Benchy and something stupid with my printer first (idk what it was), looks like that ornament turned out nicely.

I bought my kiddo the Creality K2 Combo. it's for Christmas so haven't tried it yet. how long did it take to print that? how are the melted fumes?

While I don't know anything about your kiddo, I can imagine he's going to love it.

I had looked into a number of printers before I bought anything. The final 3 were a Prusa One+, Creality K2 Plus Combo and the Bambu Labs P2S Combo. I ended up making my selection based on reviews, cost and ease of use. Plus, the new Prusa is supposed to have some great updates and I didn't want to wait for it.

The ornament took 10 hours to print. Mind you, I slowed the machine down from it's normal speed for that particular filament.

I saw the screen shot of the temp up, by you. Don't feel bad as it's only supposed to get to 72 here today. I may have to put some socks on.

72 is too hot. that a summer day for us.

I looked at the Bambu as well but thought a my daughter would want multi color and Bambu was too expensive. did you get a 3D scanner too? been wondering about those.
