Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Sending my best Tim hope she's OK. :smiling-face:
She's in the kitchen baking a cake for my son currently (it's his birthday today... 15).

I've had the Bird of Paradise in a previous tank - beautiful coral! Currently I have the Blue Zing - also beautiful! The Blue Zing is an accidental hybrid of the Green and the Bird of Paradise if I remember correctly. Both are beautiful, the Blue Zing just has the best of both worlds - thicker branches from the green handle more flow and the color contrast from the Bird of Paradise makes it a looker. Bird of Paradise is still beautiful but slightly more temperamental I believe.
Thanks Tim, how’s the pup and the seizures?

Man that plate just keeps getting more and more beautiful! I have to be honest I never was going to purchase one but you have changed my mind. I have not mentioned it but I’m planning on upgrading my tank this year, I lease don’t tell anyone, I want to surprise the Smorg but I am definitely adding that to my must have coral list.
Kevin, this has become one of my favorite corals. What an alien!! It came in the same order that I had trouble with, so I know it's hardy. Can't wait to see yours!

Thanks Tim, how’s the pup and the seizures?
Been a week since his last seizure. We're hoping to go a month+ between - hopefully the diet changes we've made make them almost non-existent.

Could I pull off the glue i put on the rock to kill the aptasia or does the glue need to stay in the rock?
I would leave it for at least several months. An Aiptasia is the marine version of a Hostess Twinkie, think decade long half-lives, I'm pretty sure that Aiptasia were the real cause of the K-Pg extinction event.

Ha I was thinking the same thing since I won’t pay shipping as I’ll drive over and pick them up, no shipping. Old men think alike!
Kevin, you are within driving distance of Tidal gardens!!?

My wife brought home gold, I guess this puts us in the top 1%, your welcome for us paying the majority of taxes.

My youngest son is in Ft. Lauderdale for spring break with his friends. Since the drunks are still sleeping he rented a rod and reel.

40 minutes and Corals.com is 25 minutes but they only do shipping and the shipping costs are the same for me as you. It makes difficult for me to pay the shipping from a place so close, great vendor though.

Heading out to see the new Paddington in a little bit for my son's birthday. But first, Bubba's 33 for lunch. I'm thinking the Habanero Burger?

My son is catching all aquarium fish. Does this look kinda sorta familiar Joel?
