Lol all seriousness though, my great(maybe 2 greats?) grandma had one way back when and my mom used to tell me stories about seeing it when she was little. Would definitely be funny inviting people over for the first time

They are very docile and sweet, not an aggressive bone in their body. I think because in the wild they don’t need aggression because of their spray.

She can power a generator from like 2am till 6am easily. Gets on the large Guinea pig wheel and just runs.

Mine was lazy. I'd walk over and she had her front legs on the wheel only. Walking but not with her rears...

Opening the bags is what allows the ammonia to start becoming toxic is what I've always read and been told. Or maybe it was pH to start changing rapidly... Either way, opening bags and leaving them in that water is reported to be dangerous.

That's a good point. I don't think ammonia would be an issue, because corals prefer ammonia over nitrates. I don't believe ammonia would get high enough to burn the coral.

But that's a good point by the pH, it may change when opened, which could affect other parameters, like maybe alk because I believe that's partially affected by pH?

Kind of, yes. pH affects and is affected by alkalinity.

No, those quills are pokey. If they get mad or scared they stand them up in all different directions and you can't touch them without getting poked.

I’m ok with that. Just scoop her from underneath but yes, it’s like a huge chestnut shell. It’s the all night running that I’m not fond of. But my Apple air buds fix that. But the kids can’t do that yet.

@Nor'easter Reefer I did that with my last order. I don't have a sump, so she floated them with the lid pinning the tops of the bags down so they didn't float around and break off my sps. Should be good buddy. It's your best option considering
