Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Thanks Remi. It is certainly a relief.
If you can spot kill the aiptasia go for it. I had no luck with this, but others have. Honestly, if you can superglue, or epoxy them in place, that is a great remedy. I've doubled up on mechanical filtration (filter pads, and floss in variation, and in different points of flow. Phyto, and good rock have also helped, but my nitrates stay at or below 6. If you have room, throw some broken up live rock in your sump or AIO. I feel like natural is best and will do better than biomedia at reducing nutrients.
Nitrate on both tanks are between 15/19 which is low for me. I just take out the water from the frozen food. I have a bit of rock in the sump. I glue all aptasia I found lol but a frag from a month ago bring a bit.

15/19 is absolutely ideal in my humble opinion

I can't wait to see these! I just lost an orange hammer, that is such a nice touch in a euphyllia garden, and I think raven blastos are amongst the nicest. I'm very excited to see these open!
What?! The hammer didn't make it brother?

I believe phyto is vital to a reef. You are spot on about natural filtration sir.

As long as they are manageable and not out of control you can wipe them out. It takes time though my friend

Good morning everyone!
Good morning peanut! We have been patiently awaiting pictures of your new corals, don’t make me send the men in the panel van to your house!

Good morning Smorgster nerds! I got more fragging to do! The time in between keeps getting shorter and shorter.
