Actually, let me rephrase: if the Acan is a Micromussa Lordhowensis (previously Acan Lordhowensis), they can. Acan Echinata and other Acans can have sweepers.

Bird feeders down and hummingbird feeders up. The little suckers should be here if not soon. They will be hungry from their migration from Central America and Mexico. I love watching them, at times we will get 6-7 at a time but they aren’t nice to each other, it’s like watching a WWI dogfight with those bi-wing planes.

I LOVE hummingbirds. We have a feeder with a camera on it, and we're putting it out tomorrow. We only get 1 or two an hour though. How do you get so many??

We landed in Newark and now we have a 3 hour drive home. Just short of a 12 hour travel day... our flights went perfect though. The first flight got delayed by forty minutes, but they made up time and we only landed 5 minutes late. The second flight had a really, really rough landing. Ugh...back to normal life.

Set out several feeders a few feet or more apart that way one male isn't chasing off all the others or at least it makes it harder for him to chase them off.

Didn't know that was even possible...

I've been close to that at Winco, but, you know,...a lot of mouths to feed. Also Cash and Carry...er...US Foods Chef's Food Store. To be fair Winco was a years worth of staples. Cash n Carry gets expensive when they have good deals on meat. As my father used to say, "Good deals cost you a lot more money than bad deals!"

It was literally incredible to watch.
They kept pulling things out of hanging bags on their shopping cart.
It was like magic.
