Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Good morning Tom. Question for ya, would you be willing to make me some of the Meridian hanging brackets you made? I would obviously pay you for them.
Of course. PM me.

They would love Cedar Point! Luis does like fishing, nothing better than jumping on Lake Erie during the walleye run. Heck, we could even go fish the Detroit River during the walleye run.
When I was at Ohio State University a friend and I went up twice to the Maumee River for the walleye run. It was shoulder to shoulder fishing.

It isn't fun when it's like that. We would go out on a boat

We could relocate him to Sandusky, halfway between us, his son would love Cedar Point. Lots of green bottles and walleye fish fries! To make them feel more at home we could pitch in for a couple of those blow up plastic palm trees for their yard as house warming presents.
I spent a lot of time in Sandusky. I used to go perch fishing in the bay and stay at a camp ground nearby with my aunt and cousin. Then we'd visit with family in the area.

I didn't go to CP very often though, made me too nostalgic for Euclid Beach Park. Euclid Beach Park had some of the best roller coasters I ever rode (Flying Turns and Racing Coasters were two of them). A lot of the coasters and other rides (there was a huge 'carousel' of race horse for one) ended up at CP.

I’ve never been a big amusement park fan but of course we had to take the kids a few times. I think yellow fin perch are the best fresh water fish to eat followed by walleye, they are closely related. You just have to catch a lot more of them due to their size.

Good morning Tim. I think the work request you put in yesterday asking for rain got rerouted to Michigan. I thought I saw the Ark float by it was raining so hard.
It's likely. We got a haboob instead it looks like...

Sounds like great memories! There is nothing better than a big batch of friend perch! If I haven't already said it, good morning

The joys of a dust storm! Nothing like feeling the grit in your teeth

There was a fish processing plant on the wharf so we'd take a row boat out and catch a few 5 gallon buckets of perch, then row over to the plant and leave ten minutes later with tons of beautiful butterfly fillets. I never did catch a Walleye in Erie but caught lots of them in the smaller lakes out east and around Akron/Canton.

Now I get Walleye once a year. Culver's has Walleye during lent in addition to their normal cod.

I agree there's nothing like a perch fish fry but walleye is a close second.
